What it costs.
Published, so nobody has to ask. The range moves on what you need — never on who you are or how you asked.
One page that does the job of a shopfront. What you sell, your photos, and a button that opens WhatsApp with the order already written.
Everything you sell, in one place a customer can actually search. Sizes, prices, what's still available, and an order that arrives already written.
For a business that's bigger than a product list. Several branches, bookings and appointments, a full menu or portfolio, and enquiry forms that reach you properly.
Everything above, plus the surface you actually run the business from. Orders, bookings, stock and schedules in one place, with the numbers in front of you.
Converted at 2,600 TZS and 129 KES to the dollar.
How the range works.
Two numbers instead of one is more than most people in this trade will give you. Here is exactly what moves you between them, so you can work out where you land before you message me.
- The lower number
- The tier exactly as listed, built for a business your size. That's a real price, not an opening position.
- Where you land
- How much there is to build. More products, more branches, more photos, a second language. Same features, more work.
- Anything extra
- Anything that's not on the tier's list — a booking calendar, a dashboard, delivery priced by zone. Each one is a named module from TZS 250,000 or KES 12,000, added on top, and you see the name and the number before you agree to it.
- The upper number
- The ceiling is real too. If the modules you want add up past the tier above, I tell you to buy that tier instead. It costs you less and it's less work for me.
And if a tier is out of reach, I won't cut the price. I'll take a module out and tell you exactly what you lose.
The terms.
- One price, agreed before I start. No clock running, no surprise invoice.
- Half up front, half when it goes live and works.
- Hosting and your domain are in the price, not extra.
- M-Pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money or bank.
- Scope in writing first, so you never pay for anything we didn't agree on.
What I won't do.
- Invent prices, hours or reviews you have not published.
- Promise you traffic I cannot prove.
- Put your site on my subdomain and call it yours.
You'll hear all three of these before you ask, because they're the things most people in this business will quietly do to you.
Before you ask.
- How much does a website cost in Tanzania?
- A one-page site with WhatsApp ordering runs TZS 450,000 to 650,000. A full searchable order website with your own domain runs TZS 1,000,000 to 1,600,000. A complete multi-branch site with bookings runs TZS 2,500,000 to 4,000,000. A full business system with an admin dashboard starts at TZS 6,500,000. The range depends on what you need, not on who is asking.
- Who updates the website after it's built?
- Nothing needs updating for the site to keep working. Prices and new items are a message to me, included for the first year. If you want to edit it yourself, that is a paid module and I will price it honestly rather than pretend it is free.
- I already have Instagram. Why do I need a website?
- Instagram is where people find you. A website is where they decide. Instagram can't show a customer every size you stock at eleven at night, can't take an order while you're asleep, and can't be searched by somebody who has never heard of you.
- I paid someone before and they never finished. Why is this different?
- You pay half up front and half only when the site is live and working. The second half is yours to withhold. Before we talk, I send you a finished preview of your own business, not a promise, so you have already seen the work before any money moves.
All the questions I get asked →What a website costs in Tanzania →What a website costs in Kenya →
Tell me what you sell. I'll tell you what I'd build.
First call's free. If it's not something I should be doing, I'll tell you that instead.
